4 min - Aug 20, 2008With the support of some very generous donors, imagine1day has providing 11 existing schools in the Hintalo Wejirat district of Northern Ethiopia with the building blocks for a self sustaining future. The members of the PTA of each community will be mobilized and trained in leadership, financial management, ecology, gender equality and project sustainability. Parents & teachers will plant fruit and shade trees and will be oriented in environmental conservation and alternative income models. Schools will be equipped with tool kits that will be used to maintain the buildings and surrounding property. This gift has impact 4,418 children, their families and their communities. Thank you!
