Dumezil News est une chaine de télé (qui passe en boucle sur en DVD en fait ...) et fut créée en Mars 2007 au lycée Georges Dumézil de Vernon (Eure- Haute Normandie). Voici une petite vidéo: - Les debuts - la maison des lycéens (MDL) - dumezilnews.oldiblog.com - les vidéos sur le web - les influences - conclusion de l'historique ### ENGLISH TRANSLATION hello, i'm Rémy , i'm the creator of DN with some others members of my high school. i'm the director. i wants you to talk about the concept and aim of DN. -Les débuts (beginnings) DN created in March 07. at the beginnig, i had got high school Dumézil's pictures and videos (higgledy-piggledy) in my computer. After, the idea came on ... put Dumézil into a TV. It was a way to sponsoring a students association (Maison Des Lycéens - MDL) too. The first video was presented at the high school's party. This video had got a special form. It was a mosaic of satellite fake channels (CNN France, Ciné Normand, Riders, ...). "Canal 27" is the mosaic's name (27: number of the french department where the scenes takes place). Thera was a fake live with "steven hammilton" who interviewed students. It was rather fun for this first time. We wanted to show Dumézil in an "american channel" (for watch the effect).but after it was more serious. We talked about a conference on ecology and an important show in the department with the "groupe F" (creators of the fireworks in Paris for millenium and olympics of sydney). There was a project on municipal elections of vernon in march 2008(town of Dumézil):not finished - les videos sur le web (news on web) we created a channel on youtube in June 07. - les influences DN draw one's inspiration of CNN, BBc news, sky news,... the dumezil news's theme is the bbc news's theme by David LOWE. - fin (end) DN is enough "americanizated" in the concept, style, voice-over, ...etc Thanks for watch DN since 1 year, thanks you bye ...
